Isabela Island

Isabela is the largest island in the Galapagos, but with a population of only around 2,200, it remains one of the gems of the archipelago.

This is laid-back island living at its finest. The beach is easily accessed from town though it is often occupied by local iguanas and other wildlife.

The town offers humble seafood restaurants with some interesting beachfront bars.
