Location & Geography: Bartolome Island is located 2-3 hours Northwest of Santa Cruz Island. The island is volcanic in origin with an extinct volcanic cone that can be accessed via a wooden boardwalk. The view from the summit is one of the most astounding in all of the Galapagos. Pinnacle rock is the remains of a volcanic tuff and is one of the most iconic images of the islands.

Difficulty: Moderate to Strenuous due to terrain and exposure : wooden boardwalk with 300+ steps to summit, dry landing transfer from motor yacht to zodiac to dock & zodiac to beach, snorkeling from beach.
You will need: closed shoes, water, hat, sunscreen, snorkel gear, bathing suit/ change of clothes and light jacket for the return trip.
