Nameless Island

An Island with No Name

Nameless Island is approximately 90 minutes west of Puerto Ayora and it is popular for viewing Blue-Footed Boobies, Nazca Boobies, Frigate Birds and Gulls as well as Sea Lions resting on the rocks with Sea Turtles and Rays in the waters below. Enjoy the scenic ride along the west coast of Santa Cruz past Tortuga Bay and other isolated beaches en route to this isolated marvel.

On this route it is common to come across runs of Yellowfin Tuna and seemingly countless sea birds. ou will then cruise back to Playa Palmas for some water time. After snorkeling in a protected bay you will have lunch onboard before heading back to Santa Cruz.

"We are so happy we decided to do a land based tour with Galapagos Alternative. It's the best way to go! They make the process of traveling to the islands simple and don't overcharge. Their use of local tour companies stimulates the local economy and gets you right in the middle of all the action on the islands."
